Lottery Blog
The purpose of this lottery blog is very simple - to comment on anything and everything to do with national lotteries. I've been interested in lotteries ever since the first Lotto draw took place in the UK back in November 1994, and although twelve years have passed since then, my enthusiasm hasn't waned one bit. If anything, it's actually increased, and this is simply because there are many more lottery games for me to choose from these days.
Although I haven't yet won a lottery jackpot, I have won enough smaller prizes to keep me ever hopeful. I'm a realist, so I know that the odds of me winning a jackpot are slim, but I have enough fun playing - and winning smaller prizes - to want to continue.
What can you expect to read about in this blog? Well, how's this for starters:
4I'll be commenting on lottery news stories as and when they break. Unlike major media moguls, my views are totally independent and unbiased, so I can tell it like it is without worrying about giving things a corporate spin.
4I'll be giving my views on various "lottery secrets" that do the rounds from time to time, exploding more than a few myths and, in some cases, saying things that some people would rather I didn't. If any of this offends anyone... tough.
4I'll be sharing the rumours, whispers and inside info titbits that tend to go around for weeks or even months before the general public ever find out. This stuff will make you one of the few "in the know" lottery players that we would all like to be.
4I'll be looking at the inspirational (and sometimes not so inspirational) stories of lottery winners around the world.
