10 Millionaires Created in UK as EuroMillions Hits £142 Million

Last Updated: Monday 29th April 2024, 09:45

The biggest EuroMillions jackpot of the year rolled over on Friday night as nobody matched all the winning numbers, but a special edition of the Millionaire Maker ensured that 10 UK players picked up £1 million.

Nobody has won EuroMillions’ top prize since the last Superdraw on 15th March, when a ticket holder from Spain landed £111 million (€130 million).

A jackpot worth £130 million was up for grabs on Friday, and the winning numbers were 2, 20, 39, 40 and 47, with Lucky Stars 4 and 8. More than 950,000 UK players won prizes - and 2.7 million prizes were won in total across the participating countries.

But with no jackpot winners, a gigantic £142 million will be on offer in the next draw on Tuesday. It will continue to grow until at least someone matches all the numbers, or until it reaches its €250 million cap (approximately £213 million based on the current exchange rate).

The biggest UK winners on Friday were the 10 players who won in the enhanced Millionaire Maker raffle draw.

There is just one Millionaire Maker winner in a regular draw, but 10 were selected on this occasion. Go to the draw page for Friday 26th April to see a list of the winning codes.

You have to match a winning code exactly to get a prize in the Millionaire Maker, with every letter and number in the correct position. The EuroMillions Checker allows you to type in your code to help you find out if you are a winner, at the same time as reviewing your numbers.

It can be easy to overlook your raffle code if you are focused on checking the numbers from the main EuroMillions draw, and some Millionaire Maker prizes do occasionally go unclaimed. In fact, one prize of £1 million, dating back to 3rd November 2023, is set to expire on 1st May. The ticket was bought in the Northumberland area.

You have 180 days to claim any National Lottery prize in the UK. Depending on how much you win, there are various ways to claim. Of course, you can only win if you buy a ticket and match enough numbers, so make sure not to miss out on the next chance to land a big prize.
