Euromillions triple rollover won

Euromillions Friday night’s Euromillions draw was certainly an exciting one, with a triple rollover there was almost £53 million up for grabs for players in the nine European countries the lottery is played in. Ticket sales were high as players across Europe scrambled to win this life changing amount of cash before Christmas and the great news is that one lucky player scooped the entire lot!

Now that’s an early Christmas present that we’re sure will be appreciated and it makes the winner one of the world’s biggest lottery winners. Details of the winner have not yet emerged and may not ever if the lucky ticket holder chooses to remain anonymous. We do know the ticket wasn’t sold in the UK however, although one lucky UK lottery player did become an instant millionaire playing the Millionaire Raffle.

You can check the numbers for the Euromillions Lottery draw and the Millionaire Raffle on our lottery results page and don’t worry if you weren’t a jackpot winner as there were many not so smaller prizes won too. In fact matching five main balls and one lucky star was worth almost £900,000 and two lucky UK players scooped that prize.

It does mean of course there won’t be the massive Euromillions jackpot on Christmas Day, something that would have stirred up a lot of interest. The draw is still well worth playing however with a £13 million jackpot up for grabs and could make someone a perfect Christmas present. Buy lottery tickets online now to ensure you don’t miss your chance!
