The Euromillions draw for this coming Friday
(22 December) is exciting players all over Europe
with a jackpot of around £35 million.
With just a few days remaining before Christmas,
the notion of becoming a millionaire on Friday
and being able to play Santa in style on Monday
is driving ticket sales through the roof.
Christmas is always a good time for lottery
sales, but to have a draw for a particularly
large jackpot take place just a few days before
the popular holiday is a dream come true for
many. The lottery companies involved will be
pleased to have extra ticket sales raising money
for good causes, and lottery players all over
Europe will have something extra to look forward
to - it's a win-win scenario all round.
Tickets for the Euromillions game are available
right up to the day of the draw, but with a
last-minute surge in sales expected to coincide
with a lot of last-minute Christmas shopping,
we expect queues to grow almost as long as the
ones we witnessed for the whopping £120
million jackpot draw in November. Our advice
is therefore to buy your tickets as soon as
you can.
For those readers who have been living in Lapland
for the past three years, players of the Euromillions
game have to pick 5 main numbers from 1-50 and
2 Lucky Star numbers from 1-9. The jackpot is
won by the player(s) who match all seven numbers
correctly. Lesser prizes are available for players
who match fewer numbers, and overall the odds
of winning any prize are 1 in 24.
Will the Euromillions draw this Friday make
you a Christmas jackpot winner? Will Santa be
dropping £35 million down your chimney?
You'll find out for certain on Friday night,
so good luck and we ho ho hope you win!
