Lottery fans now have a huge week to look forward to courtesy of EuroMillions, starting with Tuesday’s huge £40 million (€50 million) jackpot. With the frost nipping and winter coats being bought for the whole family, a win of that amount would allow you to hop into your private jet and set off to the Bahamas every time the thermometer dropped into single figures for more than a couple of days in a row.

The end of the week sees the return of the EuroMillions Millionaire Maker Mega Friday draw, in which ten UK players will match the winning Millionaire Maker codes and receive £1 million plus a luxury trip of a lifetime to Australia, Brazil or Peru. That is in addition to what is guaranteed to be a multi-million pound jackpot whether the top prize is won on Tuesday or not.

For your chance to escape the chill and prise your fingers from the de-icer can once and for all, you will need to grab yourself a few EuroMillions tickets this week. You can get hold of them online or from authorised retailers, and you have till 7:30pm GMT on the day of the draw to buy them.
