Three Share Lotto Jackpot

Last Updated: Monday 15th October 2012, 13:00

Three Share Lotto JackpotThree tickets shared the Lotto jackpot of £3,975,837 on Saturday 7 July, giving each winner a millionaire-making prize of £1,325,279. The Lotto results were 05, 22, 23, 30, 33 and 45, and the Bonus Ball was 06. Seven tickets matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £174,762 each and another 534,347 tickets won smaller prizes of up to £1,782 for matching fewer numbers. All of that means that there is a brand new jackpot of around £2.2 million to play for in the midweek Lotto game this Wednesday 11 July.

Whilst Lotto jackpot-hunters had plenty of reasons to celebrate on Saturday, those seeking a jackpot win in the EuroMillions game on Friday 6 July weren’t so lucky. No ticket matched all five main numbers (31, 32, 38, 40 and 42) as well as both Lucky Star numbers (01 and 03) to win the £42 million jackpot, so the jackpot in the next EuroMillions game this Tuesday 10 July will be worth an estimated £48 million.

Four EuroMillions tickets (two purchased by UK players) matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win a very generous consolation prize of £332,649 each. Another four tickets matched five main numbers only to win €152,441 each, but none of those tickets were bought in the UK. The total number of EuroMillions prizes won on Friday was 2,496,344, and the Millionaire Raffle number WVN249573 gave one UK player a life-changing prize of £1,000,000.

In the Health Lottery game on Saturday 6 July the winning numbers were 14, 21, 22, 30 and 33. One ticket matched all of those numbers to win the top prize of £100,000 and 10,000 other tickets matched four or three numbers to win £500 or £50 each.

Talking of the Health Lottery, the game will have a new prize structure from Saturday 21 July that gives every ticket two chances to win a top prize of £100,000. Consolation prizes for matching four or three numbers will be reduced to £250 and £20, respectively, but players will also be able to win ‘Hot Ticket’ prizes such as cars, holidays and shopping sprees, so the potential to win a prize will be better than ever.

Congratulations to everyone who won a lottery prize on Friday or Saturday, and good luck to everyone who buys a lottery ticket or two for the games coming up this week!
