Triple Rollover for the EuroMillions Jackpot

Last Updated: Friday 30th March 2012, 15:59

EuroMillionsThe final EuroMillions draw of the month took place last night and there was a jackpot of just over £28 million available to win. As there have already been two top prizes wins of this month already, many ticket holders last night were hoping that they would become the next EuroMillions jackpot winners. However, the results from this draw show that no players matched the five plus two number combination that was drawn, meaning that it is now a triple rollover for the EuroMillions jackpot.

The results from this draw if you haven’t seen them already were 9, 34, 38, 43, 45 and the Lucky Stars were 2 and 4. In total last night there were over 1.5 million players that won a one of the 12 remaining EuroMillions prizes after the jackpot. Three of these ticket holders matched five numbers and one Star to each take home the second tier prize that was worth £252,525. To add to that 1,218 matched four numbers to win just over £90, and then the smallest prize in the EuroMillions came out at £3.20 and this was won by 863,991 players.

On the 10th May 2011 the EuroMillions rules slightly changed (introduction of the Tuesday draw and the addition of two Lucky Star numbers) and since them some EuroMillions statistics have developed.

Out of the numbers drawn last night the number 45 is actually one of the most popular numbers to be drawn as it has been in the results 11 times since the 10th May 2011. In contrast to that the number 43 is one of the least often picked numbers and last night it made its forth appearance in the EuroMillions results since 10th May 2011.

As there were no top prize winners the EuroMillions jackpot available to win in Friday night's draw is now estimated at £38 million.
