Unclaimed Euromillions Jackpot claimed
Over the last couple of weeks, we at National-Lottery.com have spent a lot of time giving out little reminders about unclaimed jackpots. Time is running out for many big jackpots won and any unclaimed prizes go back into the fund for good causes when time runs out. For a change, today we have some good news for you and that’s because one unclaimed Euromillions Lottery jackpot has been snapped up.
The prize worth a life-changing £120,000 has just been claimed by a Dundee lottery player, months after it was originally won. A mystery lottery player from the Dundee area of Scotland has claimed the prize, worth £119,777.50, from the Euromillions draw held back on August 28th 2009.
No other details will be released about the winner as they have chosen anonymity, which is a shame as we would love to know what has taken them four months to claim their winning lotto ticket.
Whether we know the winner or not, it doesn’t change the fact that Dundee is fast becoming the UK’s luckiest town! Last year the UK’s official luckiest lottery area was Tyneside but judging by some recent winners that might be about to change.
This lottery winner from Dundee is the third local person to claim a six-figure lottery win in the past six months, add that to several jackpot winners in the area and it’s easy to see why Dundee is the place to buy lotto tickets as it seems to be one of the luckiest UK Lotto towns.
