All Eyes on the Celebs for the Lotto Awards

Last Updated: Friday 25th September 2020, 15:13

As per the news we brought you earlier in the week, the Lotto Awards were held last night, live on BBC1. Seven good causes – voted for by you – were each handed £2,000 each at the awards but it was all eyes on the celebs who hosted the show and not always for the right reasons either. Here’s all the news about the award ceremony and how it panned out.

Seven good causes in total were each handed £2,000 in National Lottery money for good causes, it was an exciting evening, eagerly watched by the public who had voted for the projects they thought were most deserving of the National Lottery cash.

The good causes included the Harbour Place Day Centre in Grimsby and the RSPB after the lottery ticket buying public voted in force to see their projects receive a wedge of lottery cash.

But it was the celebs hosting the ceremony who caught the headlines. Myleene Class and Kirsty Gallacher shone at the award ceremony whereas their fellow celeb David Gest raised eyebrows for completely the wrong reasons.

Kirsty showed off her baby bump in a stunning sparkly dress while I’m a Celeb start Myleene Class looked delectable in on off the shoulder outfit at the events ceremony. David Gest however attracted attention for quite the wrong reasons after dyeing the top of his head bright red. Never one to shy away from the camera, he really did himself no favours at the awards ceremony and certainly didn’t hit the jackpot in the style stakes.
