Killer wins the Thunderball

Last Updated: Thursday 7th July 2011, 16:08

Thunderball A convicted murderer is now £250,000 richer after winner the Thunderball draw on the UK Lotto. Michael Edgar stabbed his wife to death in 1986 in what was considered to be provocative circumstances after she taunted him at a disco in 1986, Deborah Edgar died instantly as the knife penetrated her heart.

Mr Edgar served just three years for the attack when the judge accepted a manslaughter plea on the grounds of diminished responsibility. He has since remarried and has a new family but last week he struck lucky as his numbers came up on the Thunderball draw in the UK Lotto.

He is clearly over the moon about his winning lottery ticket but we are sure that there will be many who will think he is not worthy of such good fortune. Luck of course has nothing to do with morals of course.

Mr Edgar is ecstatic about his lottery win and is quoted as saying that although he will have to continue to work in his building job, the win will make life much easier for him and his family.

The Thunderball is one of the UK Lotto’s most popular draws and with a top prize of £250,000 every week it’s easy to see why. Both the Thunderball and the UK Lotto will be drawn this evening and you can buy lottery tickets for the draw online from our pages and never worry about missing another draw again.

Who knows, you may be the next lucky Thunderball winner.
