Lotto Jackpot ticket still unclaimed

Last Updated: Wednesday 12th September 2018, 12:06

A £3.6 million UK Lotto jackpot from two weeks ago is still yet to be claimed, leading Camelot to put out a shout for the winner to come forward. The winning lotto ticket, bought for the midweek draw on September 23rd was sold in the Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Stathspey area of Scotland but the lucky winner may not even be aware of the win, having not checked the lottery ticket.

The lucky winner has a while to come forward yet but as jackpot prizes are usually claimed immediately, the National Lottery is wondering if the winner is even aware that they are holding a multi-million pound ticket.

The winning numbers for the midweek lotto draw held on September 23rd were 23 – 25 – 28 – 41 – 46 and 47. Unless you buy lucky dip lottery tickets, these numbers may be familiar to you.

The winning lottery ticket is worth a massive £3,681,197 as the ticket was the only ticket to match all six numbers in the midweek lotto draw and the ticket holder has until March 22nd next year to claim their prize.

If you bought a ticket in one of the areas above then it’s time to find it and check those lottery results, you could be sitting on a multi-million pound lottery prize and not even be aware.

Of course if this massive lotto prize goes unclaimed then it will go the same way as many unclaimed prizes, back into the fund for good causes. It’s unusual for big jackpot wins to go unclaimed but this ticket certainly is the biggest to do so. In fact a few years ago, one prize for over £9 million, and the interest accumulated on it went back into the fund for good causes after not being claimed.
