We at National Lottery love nothing more than hearing about syndicate lotto wins, there’s nothing quite like sharing the wealth around a group of friends or co-workers. But one lottery syndicate are sharing it more than most do as a massive twenty-five strong lotto syndicate scoop £2.2 million on the National Lottery giving each of them almost £75,000 each of lotto cash.
The ferry staff work for Stena Line on their high speed ferry in Holyhead and have been playing the National Lottery as part of a large lottery syndicate for a while now. But last Wednesday lady luck shone down on them and now they are £2.2 million richer.
The group have asked for anonymity but details of who they are have leaked out. £75,000 is a fantastic amount of money and will make a huge difference to the lives of the syndicate members who are no doubt celebrating right now.
There’s nothing quite like sharing and this Holyhead syndicate certainly have done that with this lottery result.
The total prize fund for the night their winning lottery ticket came up was £6.6 million but three ticketholders shared the jackpot, leaving the Holyhead Ferry Syndicate sharing £2.2 million.
Both Stena Line and the National Lottery have been unable to comment on the win due to the anonymity requested by the winners but we would like to say congratulations to the winning lottery syndicate and wish them good luck and lots of fun spending their big lottery win.
