Two Lotto jackpots still unclaimed

Last Updated: Tuesday 3rd July 2018, 12:31

From time to time, we see lottery prizes go unclaimed and added to the fund for good causes. Each lottery winner has just 180 days to claim lottery prizes before they are lost forever and right now there are two lottery jackpots, both worth over £1 million waiting to be claimed in the National Lottery offices. Here are the details of the latest unclaimed lottery jackpots and how long is left to claim.

The first National Lottery jackpot in the unclaimed lottery prizes list £1,524,177 and was sold for the UK Lotto draw held on 27th March 2009. The lottery ticket was sold in the Borough of South Tyneside and the winner now only has until September 23rd to come forward and claim the prize.

But that isn’t the only lottery jackpot about to expire, on 25th November a lottery ticket was sold in the Borough of Dudley and this ticket matched all six winning numbers in the draw on May 29th, the ticket is worth a massive £1,197,899 and could change somebody’s life.

These are the biggest two of a long list of unclaimed lottery prizes from the National Lottery and that’s why we recommend you buy lottery tickets online. You don’t have to worry about losing tickets and the National Lottery will even send you an email if you are a lucky winner.

It’s also the last chance to buy lottery tickets for tonight’s £23 million Euromillions rollover draw and then tomorrow evening you have a £7 million UK Lotto rollover to look forward to. Good luck and don’t lose your lottery tickets!
