Lottery Rollovers are contagious

Last Updated: Tuesday 11th September 2018, 12:44

On Wednesday evening there were no winners on the midweek National Lottery draw making tonight’s Lotto draw a rollover, but it would seem that lottery rollovers are contagious and the Euromillions has caught the bug as none of the players from the nine participating European countries matched all the winning numbers in last night’s Euromillions draw.

There was £12.5 million up for grabs in last night’s Euromillions draw and while you can check the full results on our lottery results page, we can tell you that no one scooped the jackpot. It means that next Friday’s Euromillions is worth an estimated £23 million, the first Euromillions rollover for eight weeks!

Lottery rollovers have been thin on the ground for weeks for both National Lottery players and Euromillions players with the last Euromillions rollover taking place at the end of July. Something that could be disappointing if you like to chase big lottery jackpots.

The lack of lottery rollovers over the past few weeks is likely to push up lottery ticket sales for both tonight’s UK Lotto rollover, worth an estimated £7 million and next Friday’s Euromillions rollover, worth an estimated £23 million. This could mean both jackpots end up higher than estimate, giving UK Lottery players plenty to get excited about!

There are just a few hours left now to buy lottery tickets for tonight’s UK Lotto rollover so if you want to be the next big lottery millionaire, grab your tickets now, and while you’re there, why not pick up tickets for next Friday’s Euromillions rollover too?
