Lotto jackpot soon to expire

Last Updated: Tuesday 3rd July 2018, 12:20

Lottery Tickets CashImagine finding a lottery ticket, matching all six numbers and then finding you are too late to claim your prize. That could happen in just a couple of weeks for one lottery player if they don’t step forward soon. On 29th May, the Lotto jackpot was shared three ways, with each lottery player collecting just over £1.1 million, however one of those winners still hasn’t stepped forward to claim the prize, which expires on November 25th.

The lottery ticket in question is worth a staggering £1,1977,899 and matched all six winning numbers in the National Lottery draw held on 29th May 2010. The National Lottery sold the lottery ticket in the Borough of Dudley and despite many appeals by lottery organisers, the winner has never stepped forward to claim the prize.

If you purchase lottery tickets in this area then you may be sitting on a life-changing lottery win and not even be aware. It’s time to hunt for old lottery tickets, maybe that ticket is in a jacket, not worn since the spring, at the bottom of a forgotten handbag? Who knows, but one lottery player is about to miss out on this life-changing win if the lottery ticket isn’t found.

The winner has until 5pm on November 25th to step forward for this unclaimed lottery prize or the entire jackpot, plus any interest it has accrued will be handed over to the good causes fund.

The next National Lottery draw is tomorrow evening, with an estimated £2.4 million jackpot, if you don’t want to miss out on your lottery prize then we recommend you buy lottery tickets online!
