Last Updated: Monday 14th June 2010, 11:32

Euromillions One UK lottery player last night became the countries biggest ever lottery winner after scooping the five times rollover Euromillions Lottery jackpot. The jackpot hit over £84 million for the draw, and one lucky UK player matched all five winning numbers and the two lucky stars. It’s not yet known who the winner is, or indeed what area the lottery ticket was sold in, we are awaiting news now from National Lottery officials on where the lucky ticket was sold.

Another fourteen lottery players matched five main balls and one lucky star in last night’s big Euromillions Lottery rollover and two of those players were from the UK. Each player walks away with £242,957, almost a quarter of a million pound!

Another twenty-two players matched the five main balls and no lucky stars, three of those players were from the UK and walk away with £43,875 each.

Details about the single UK Euromillions winner are yet to emerge but we do know that they have smashed the current record set by Nigel Page and Justine Laycock earlier this year. They became the biggest ever UK lottery winners when they scooped £56 million on the Euromillions Lottery but this £84 million jackpot smashes that record, creating a new record lottery winner.

The next Euromillions Lottery draw is on Friday evening and the estimated jackpot for that is now £12 million, don’t forget though, it’s the UK Lotto draw tonight with an estimated £4.5 million jackpot, buy lottery tickets now for that draw.
