It’s a UK Lotto Double Rollover

Last Updated: Saturday 22nd October 2011, 20:58

Lottery RolloverWhat an exciting weekend it’s been. On Friday evening, the Euromillions jackpot rolled again and so Tuesday’s jackpot is an estimated £64 million. Now, the UK Lotto results are in and the UK Lotto has rolled too, creating a double rollover for the midweek Lotto draw. It’s the biggest Lotto jackpot since 16th April, when four players shared a £16 million triple rollover jackpot!

The Lotto draw was draw number 1634, and Arthur was the machine chosen for the draw. This machine has made frequent appearances lately, but set of balls number 7, used last night hasn’t been seen since July 23rd.

The Lotto jackpot was estimated at around £6.8 million, but surpassed this jackpot by a whole million. However, the rollover means that the £7,876,249 jackpot rolls over to Tuesday night and is likely to create a jackpot worth around £9.7 million.

The biggest winners in last night’s UK Lotto draw were the nine players who matched five main balls and the bonus, they will be collecting £157,877 each. In all, £16.8 million of prize money was paid out in the Lotto draw, to almost half a million lucky players. Hopefully this will be even higher if we see a double rollover winner on Wednesday evening.

For UK players, this means double the treat this week. In addition to the UK Lotto double rollover, there’s also the £64 million Euromillions jackpot up for grabs. It’s sure to prove an exciting week ahead and we’ll be watching the Lotto results with interest!
