EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls for the Fifth Time

Last Updated: Tuesday 21st February 2012, 12:52

Last night players were hoping to match the EuroMillions results, however that wasn’t to be the case. Unfortunately no players were lucky enough to match all of the seven numbers drawn therefore the EuroMillions jackpot rolls for the fifth time. This now means that the jackpot climbs even higher and on Friday night the quintuple jackpot is estimated to be worth £57/€66 million.

Rollovers are common in this pan-European lottery; however the last time a large number of consecutive rollovers occurred like this one was at the end of August/beginning of September when the jackpot rolled 12 times until one winning French ticket scooped the top prize of £140,822,522/€162,256,622 on the 13th September.

In case you missed the EuroMillions results from last night they were 1, 4, 15, 29, 40 and the two Lucky Stars were 1 and 5. Out of all the numbers produced last night, the Lucky star number 5 is actually one of the most common Stars to be picked out, having appeared 13 time in total since Tuesday 10th May 2011.

The numbers produced last night meant that nearly two million tickets each won a prize in this lottery game. The majority of these tickets – 1,050,990 won the smallest prize of £2.80/€4.30 and another eight tickets matched five numbers correctly to walk away with £33,276/€50,917.

If you fancy winning a prize, or more importantly the EuroMillions jackpot then make sure you have your tickets ready for Friday night and always remember the EuroMillions results are available to view online shortly after the draw takes place.
