EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls for the Second Time

Last Updated: Friday 16th January 2015, 10:08

Players in the EuroMillions were hoping that luck would be on their side last night and they would win the jackpot however the results show that no players were successful. This means that the EuroMillions jackpot rolls for the second time in a row meaning that the jackpot for Friday’s draw is now estimated at £30 million. No players did take home the top prize but there were 1.6 million ticket holders that won a prize across the other remaining tiers.

The results from last night’s EuroMillions draw were 16, 18, 24, 38, 40 and the Lucky Stars were 2 and 4. Out of all the numbers drawn out the number 38 is notable because this is one of the most often drawn out numbers having appeared 51 times in the EuroMillions results. In addition to that the Lucky Star number 2 is one of the more popular Stars to be picked out having appeared 14 times since the 10th May 2011.

Two ticket holders will be pleased with themselves today because they have each taken home the second tier prize after they matched up five numbers plus one Lucky Star. In addition to that over 1,000 players matched up four numbers to each take home £76.10 and there were 884,715 ticket holders that won the lowest prize of £2.80 last night.

If you fancy winning a prize just like the players last night then have your tickets ready for Fridays draw in which a very special event will take place. For all of the UK players who participate in the EuroMillions the Millionaires Month will start this Friday so if a prize escapes you in the main EuroMillions draw then you will be given 18 chances to win £1 million in the Millionaire Raffle.
