Euromillions player gets an Easter Treat

Last Updated: Tuesday 31st May 2011, 15:00

Lottery BallsThe results are in and one Euromillions player gets an Easter treat this weekend, as one single lottery ticket scoops the entire Euromillions jackpot. The jackpot, which reached the giddy heights of £38.3 million; just short of the £39 million estimate was accumulated after a double rollover draw has gone to a single ticket holder on what has turned out to be a rather Good Friday.

In the UK, the Easter draw prizes were plentiful on the Euromillions draw, with £4 million in prizes from the main draw. The jackpot might have gone elsewhere but the Millionaire Raffle winner will no doubt be celebrating after the draw, with £1 million in the bank on the Bank Holiday weekend! In the main draw, the biggest UK winner scooped £249,297 for matching five main balls and a lucky star and another three UK players will collect £79,589 after matching just the five main balls.

Next weekend’s Euromillions jackpot is an estimated £12 million, so if you fancy living like royalty after the Royal Wedding, make sure you get your lottery tickets for that draw.

We’re also still on the countdown to the new Tuesday Euromillions Lottery draw and don’t forget that one also kicks off with a €100 million Superdraw. There’s always something to look forward to from the UK Lotto, and in just a few hours, the UK Lotto jackpot takes place. That jackpot is worth an estimated £4.5 million to any single ticket holder who can match all the winning numbers.

Don’t forget to check back later for the UK Lotto results and all the winners news!
