Health Lottery's First Draw This Weekend

Last Updated: Monday 21st May 2012, 14:16

Health LotteryMany eager lottery fans will have noticed that a new game has arrived on to the lottery scene. This new lottery is called the Health Lottery and it has been established by Richard Desmond, who is the owner of the Daily Star and Channel 5. The Health Lottery’s first draw is scheduled to take place this weekend, however tickets for this first draw have been available to buy from Thursday 29th September 2011. This Health Lottery is being heavily promoted, so it is no wonder that people have already started talking about it.

An advert for the Health Lottery has started to be regularly shown on television and it specifies the prizes that are available to win. It also says in this advert that the Health Lottery has been introduced to ‘Brighten up Britain’ and states that money raised will help to support local health causes.

The Health Lottery plays out like all other lottery games. To be in with a chance of winning you have to select five numbers from 1 – 50 and there are three different tiers available to win a prize in. If you managed to match three numbers drawn out you will win £50, four numbers will win you £500 and you can win the top prize of £100,000 if you match all of the five numbers.

The aim of this lottery is to raise money for good health causes through the Peoples Health Trust. This means providing funds for community groups and local charities to the 51 societies around Great Britain. To see if you have become a winner after the draw takes place on Saturday night, check the Health Lottery results because you might walk away with a prize from the first ever Health Lottery draw.
