Lotto to hold double rollover draw

Last Updated: Friday 8th April 2011, 13:01

Lottery RolloverAfter the Lotto rollover at the weekend did not find a winner, tonight the Lotto is to hold a double rollover draw worth over £10 million. UK Lottery players couldn’t find their luck last weekend, as both the Euromillions Lottery on Friday evening and Saturday’s Lotto draw rolled over. However, that also means that Lotto players have plenty to look forward to this week with over £30 million up for grabs when you combine the jackpots of the two lottery draws.

Today is Wednesday and that of course is midweek Lotto day. Last Wednesday’s draw was worth just a little over £2 million and the midweek draw isn’t known for setting the country alight. However, with no winner on last Wednesday’s draw and then another rollover at the weekend, tonight’s midweek jackpot is over £10 million!

Add that to the estimated £25 million up for grabs in Friday night’s Euromillions draw and it’s easy to see why UK Lottery players are getting so excited this week. With the two jackpots, and of course the Millionaire Raffle draw, it means that UK Lottery players have £36 million to play for this week from the nation’s two biggest lottery draws.

If you haven’t bought lottery tickets yet then it’s now your last chance to do so before the draw this evening, and don’t forget to check back to our National Lottery news pages for any winner’s stories and the Lotto results, available straight after tonight’s draw!
