UK Lotto Midweek Jackpot Rolls Over

Last Updated: Tuesday 6th September 2011, 13:59

Lottery RolloverMany of us only had eyes for the Euromillions Lottery this week, and that may well be the reason why Lotto sales were very low for last night’s draw. The jackpot reached just £1.8 million, an all time low but in the event the midweek Lotto jackpot rolled over, with no one matching all the winning numbers. This means around £6.8 million for the rollover at the weekend, which is sure to catch the attention of lottery players!

In the draw, Arthur was chosen as the lottery machine, last used at the weekend and it was set of balls number 8 that last night proved unlucky for jackpot winners. However, the results weren’t too much of a disappointment with over £5 million in prizes and over 300,000 winners in the midweek UK Lotto draw!

Seven UK lottery players matched five main balls and the bonus and each of those players will collect over £80,000. Add this to all the lower tier winners and it’s easy to see that rollover or not, a lot of lottery players won a prize in last night’s UK Lotto draw!

The next draw from the UK Lotto will be held on Saturday evening, and after last night’s rollover the estimated jackpot for Saturday’s Lotto draw will be around £6.8 million. It’s not quite as high as the Euromillions record jackpot we have just seen won, but it’s still well worth buying a couple of lottery tickets for! If you’re playing, make sure you check back on Saturday evening for the winning numbers!
