Voting open for National Lottery Awards

Last Updated: Thursday 24th September 2020, 12:38

The National Lottery awards are a yearly event designed to say a big thank you to charities and promote the work that National Lottery good causes do behind the scenes for the National Lottery. A couple of months ago we brought you the news that the shortlist for the National Lottery Awards had been created and now the voting is open for the National Lottery awards, allowing Lotto players to have their say.

As the voting lines open it’s time for all the good causes who have been nominated to battle it out for the votes. Voting for the National Lottery Awards 2011 opened on Wednesday and voting lines will remain open until midday on Monday 20th June, giving everyone a chance to have their say about the good causes chosen for this year’s National Lottery Awards.

You can check out all the candidates at the National Lottery good causes website and also vote in the Awards section. Alternatively call 0844 836 9712 and help your local community project into the final round of voting.

Just the top three good causes in each category will be taken through to the final round, so this vote allows Lotto players to really make a difference. When voting ends in June, the top candidates will go through to the final, which will of course be aired live on BBC1 with a star-studded show later in the year.

The National Lottery awards are a perfect way to acknowledge all the good work that the Lotto good causes does, helping the UK find their favourite lottery funded project!
