Last Updated: Tuesday 31st May 2011, 15:00

EuromillionsStraight off the back of the biggest Euromillions Lottery jackpot of 2011, the company who run the lottery has announced some big changes. In May 10th of this year, the first Tuesday Euromillions draw will take place, taking the draw to twice-weekly status and there’s yet more news about the lottery too! The Tuesday draw is to be the biggest change to the lottery since it’s launch in 2004 and is likely to mean even more winners!

However, in case that isn’t true, the Euromillions have even more changes to increase your chances of winning a big prize. Tickets for the new look game go on sale on Saturday May 7th and the first thing you’ll notice is that there is now more lucky stars. From Saturday May 7th there’ll be even more lucky stars to choose from, so make sure you take a look at the new look Euromillions tickets. This change may well mean even more rollovers and will certainly lengthen the chances of winning the jackpot, but another change by the lottery increases your overall chances of a prize.

The next big change is an extra prize tier, taking the prize tiers on the Euromillions Lottery to thirteen. When the new look draw launches, you will win £3 if you match just two main numbers in the draw, and it’s this change that means so much to lottery players. The addition of the thirteenth tier means that the overall chances of winning a prize on the Euromillions Lottery will increase to one in 13, very good odds for such a game of chance!
