Five Lottery prizes to expire in April

Last Updated: Tuesday 3rd July 2018, 12:10

Despite many appeals from us, the National Lottery organisers and the press, players still aren’t always checking their lottery tickets. It seems that last October was a particularly forgetful month for lottery prizes as there are five lottery prizes to expire in April, all from lottery tickets bought last October. These lottery prizes are for several of the draws held by the National Lottery and are dotted around all over the UK, so let’s see if we can find some winners!

The first lottery prize to expire is a UK Lotto prize for the draw held on 6th October 2010. The ticket in question matched five numbers and the bonus in the draw and is worth £77,120. This lottery ticket was sold in the London Borough of Southwark and if the winner doesn’t come forward by 4th April, the prize will be lost forever.

Next up a Millionaire Raffle prize worth £1 million, this ticket was sold in the South Lanarkshire area for the 8th October Euromillions draw and if the winner doesn’t present the ticket by 6th April, the £1 million (the biggest of our unclaimed prizes) will be lost forever.

Next up is a five and the bonus UK Lotto prize worth £70,861. This lottery ticket was sold in the Rushmoor district of Hampshire for the 13th October Lotto draw and the winner needs to announce himself or herself by 11th April to claim this prize.

Another five and the bonus prize from the Bristol area next. This lottery ticket was purchased for the 23rd October Lotto draw and is worth £131,489, this winner has until 21st April to come forward.

Finally, a Lotto HotPicks prize worth £130,000, from a lottery ticket sold in the County of Gwynedd for the draw on October 30th. If you’re the ticketholder for this prize you only have until April 28th to come forward.

If you buy lottery tickets in any of the areas listed above, it’s time to get searching as you could be holding one of these lost lottery tickets and not even know!
