UK Lotto Jackpot Worth Nearly £15 Million

Last Updated: Friday 18th November 2011, 10:09

This weekend is set to see ticket sales rise with the UK Lotto jackpot worth nearly £15 million according to the estimated jackpot amount. Within the space of just three draws the jackpot has increased to this mammoth amount – which is an incredible leap to make over the course of three rollovers. Considering there has only been one top prize winner this month where the jackpot was won from a Saturday draw, perhaps this Saturday will be a lucky day for a potential UK Lotto top prize winner!

Last night’s draw saw Arthur take the role of lottery draw machine but whilst a total of 336,868 winners managed to win a slice of the £6,219,704 prize fund – the jackpot of £9,608,165 was left unclaimed. Three winners claimed the second tier prize of £335,693 after successfully matching 5 main balls plus the bonus ball, whilst 317 winners matched 5 main balls to win £1,985. The 16,025 players who matched 4 main balls won £86 each, with the last prize tier of £10 won by 320,523 ticket holders.

Draw 1649 produced an interesting trio of main balls, with a consecutive triplet of 24, 25 and 26 appearing in Wednesday’s line-up! However, it was only a couple of months ago that we saw a consecutive quartet in the UK Lotto – when the main balls of 46, 47, 48 and 49 were drawn! Whilst Arthur hasn’t had much luck in producing a jackpot winner, who knows what the weekend will bring. With a cool £15 million expected to be up for grabs on Saturday 15th October 2011, be sure to check the UK Lotto results to see if a weekend win is on the cards!
