Jackpot Rollovers All Round!

It was jackpot rollovers all round as far as the EuroMillions and Lotto draws were concerned on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 September. The EuroMillions jackpot had already rolled nine times in a row and on Friday it made it ten out of ten, which was full marks for EuroMillions but not the best news for jackpot-hunters. The good news is that the next EuroMillions jackpot this Tuesday 6 September will be worth a staggering £110 million. As for the Lotto jackpot, that also rolled over at the weekend and it will therefore be worth around £6.6 million for the next draw this Wednesday 7 September.
Whilst the EuroMillions jackpot itself wasn’t won on Friday 2 September, over 4.04 million players did win a consolation prize of some sort. The most successful of these were seven second-tier prize winners who each won £245,597 by matching all five main numbers (12, 26, 37, 38 and 44) and one of the two Lucky Star numbers (either 04 or 07). There were 17 winners at the third-tier level, and they matched the five main numbers without either Lucky Star to win £33,709 each. As always, one player in the UK won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number, which was RLG667879.
In the Lotto game on Saturday 3 September the results were 04, 17, 20, 26, 29 and 36, with the number 31 being drawn as the Bonus Ball. The second tier prize in this game was worth £85,592 and 15 players each won that sum by matching five main numbers with the Bonus Ball. 532 players matched five main numbers without the Bonus Ball and won £1,508 each. 28,595 players won £61 each by matching four main numbers only and over half a million others picked up £10 each by matching just three main numbers.
All of this means that we have some superb rollover jackpots to play for on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
