UK Lotto Jackpot Rolls Over to an Estimated £6.5 Million

Last Updated: Saturday 22nd October 2011, 20:58

Unfortunately the triple consecutive UK Lotto jackpot win was a no-show last night, after no one was able to match the six numbers needed in order to win the top prize. As the last UK Lotto game of September, this month has produced only four jackpot winners – a quiet month, in comparison to August producing four times this amount with 16 jackpot winners. However, as the UK Lotto jackpot rolls over to an estimated £6.5 million for Saturday 1st October 2011 player interest will increase.

The UK Lotto draw for Wednesday 28th September 2011 gave players the six main numbers of 15, 19, 25, 36, 44, 45 with the bonus ball of 43. With it being Guinevere’s third consecutive appearance as the lottery draw machine, many were hoping for her to continue her streak of good luck - as throughout September, Guinevere’s draws always resulted in a player matching her six main balls to win the jackpot prize. Sadly, this was not to be; but the good news is one lucky player managed to match five main numbers plus the bonus ball to win an impressive £732,543! Not bad for a second tier prize!

There were 216 winners who took home £2,119 for successfully matching five main numbers, with 13,659 ticket holders winning the amount of £73 – followed by 264,954 players who are now £10 better off thanks to this lottery. With the weekend draw marking the first UK Lotto game of October, make sure you’ve got your lottery tickets ready for the chance to be October’s first UK Lotto jackpot winner this Saturday.
