Lotto Winner Claims Jackpot After Three Months

One Lotto player is about to have a Christmas to remember as they have finally come forward and claimed their winnings. Normally when a prize goes on to the unclaimed Lotto prizes list there is a large chance it won’t ever be claimed however that wasn’t the case this week. On the 17th December a Lotto winner finally claimed the jackpot after winning it over three months ago. The identity of this ticket holder isn’t known however what is known is that the winning ticket was purchased in the Anglesey or Gwynedd areas. Lottery officials were appealing for people in this area to check their Lotto tickets to see if they were the £6.4 million jackpot winners and now it seems their searching paid off as the ticket holder has now claimed this prize and will most likely be having a merry Christmas.
Sadly there are plenty of unclaimed Lotto prizes that are set to expire if winners don’t come forward before the prize is added to the Good Causes fund.
