Last Updated: Tuesday 1st May 2012, 16:08

UK LottoOn Wednesday there was a UK Lotto jackpot of just over £7 million available to win and in this draw two winning tickets matched all six numbers to split the UK Lotto top prize. This win has meant that the UK Lotto jackpot has gone back to basics for tomorrow's draw meaning that it is estimated at £4.2 million. Tomorrow’s UK Lotto draw will be the first for March 2012, so any players become the first jackpot winners for this month or will the UK Lotto jackpot rollover?

Since the start of this year the UK Lotto jackpot has been won in almost every draw. There have been 17 UK Lotto draws in total so far for 2012 and in just three of those draws the jackpot rolled over as no players matched all six numbers drawn. This amount of jackpot wins is impressive, so it will be interesting to see whether this winning streak can remain in this month for the UK Lotto.

Some players can it a struggle to select six numbers to play to this lottery with, so it can be helpful to look at the lottery number patterns to see which numbers are drawn more than others. The most often selected UK Lotto numbers are 38, 44, 43, 11, 23 and 32. All of these numbers have been drawn over 225 times, with the most popular being 38 that has been drawn an impressive 235 times.

Whether any of these numbers will make it into the UK Lotto results tomorrow night remains to be seen, but make sure you have your tickets ready and you never know you might just become the first UK Lotto jackpot winner for March 2012.
