Happy Halloween from the Irish Lottery

Last Updated: Monday 3rd December 2012, 10:33

Irish LotteryHalloween is just around the corner so if you fancy winning yourself an extra special treat before this spooky event then look no further than the Irish Lottery. The Irish National Lottery is wishing all players a Happy Halloween by increasing the jackpot in this lottery. This means that tomorrow night’s top prize is worth an estimated €7.5 million as €1 million has been added to celebrate Halloween – but will any players bag themselves a treat and win this jackpot tomorrow night or will it carry on rolling over?

The last time the Irish Lottery jackpot was won was on the 26th September when two winning ticket purchased in the South East and the North matched the six numbers drawn in the results to share the €5.7 million jackpot. Since then players haven’t been able to match the numbers drawn in the Irish Lottery results so the jackpot has remained elusive and rolled over for a total of eight times.

There are only two Irish Lottery draws left for October 2012 so it will be interesting to see if the jackpot will be won this month or whether it will carry on rolling over into November. Who knows if it carries on rolling over then we might just see a new record set for the highest Irish Lottery jackpot won. Currently this stands at an impressive €18.9 million which was won on the 28th June 2008 by a syndicate of 16 from Carlow.

As always if you fancy winning this special Halloween Irish Lottery jackpot then make sure you have your tickets ready because you never know, you could have some Halloween luck on your side!
