Irish Lottery Jackpot Won By Single Ticket

Last Updated: Monday 3rd December 2012, 10:33

Irish LotterySaturday night proved lucky for one ticket holder as the Irish Lottery jackpot was won by a single ticket. The National Irish Lottery jackpot came out at just over €7.3 million after this lottery added €1 million more to celebrate Halloween. This draw definitely saw someone win an impressive treat as one ticket, which was purchased in the South East, matched the numbers drawn in the results to win this eight times rollover Irish Lottery jackpot.

Whether this winning ticket was purchased by a single person or as part of a syndicate remains to be seen but this winner was most likely celebrating in Ireland over the weekend. However, this wasn’t the only winner on Saturday night as also two ticket holders matched five numbers along with the Bonus Ball to scoop the second tier prize which is always worth €25,000.

If you are yet to see the Irish Lottery results from Saturday’s draw then they are 4, 9, 24, 25, 29, 44 and the Bonus Ball was 39. This jackpot win on Saturday night was the first for this month and as there is just one more draw left it will be interesting to see whether the jackpot will be won again on Wednesday night or if it will start to rollover again.

Wednesday’s Irish Lottery jackpot has gone back to basics after Saturday’s draw so it is estimated at €2 million so have your tickets ready if you fancy winning this top prize on the scariest night of the year!
