£100,000 Unclaimed Health Lottery Prize Due to Expire

Last Updated: Thursday 22nd November 2018, 14:22

An unclaimed jackpot prize worth £100,000 which was won on the Health Lottery on Saturday 4th May 2013 is due to expire next Tuesday unless the winner comes forward.

Prizes won on the Health Lottery expire 180 days after the date of the draw if they are not claimed, in the same way as UK Lotto prizes. If the winner of the £100,000 prize does not make themselves known to Health Lottery officials by midnight Tuesday 29th October 2013 the prize will be forfeited.

The winning ticket was purchased from Tesco in Belmont, Hereford on the draw date and successfully matched the numbers 5, 7, 18, 28 and 50 to win the top prize.

In other unclaimed prize news, a Match 5 plus Bonus ball prize won on the UK Lotto is also due to expire next week. The prize, worth £78,030, was won on 1st May 2013 and is due to expire at midnight on Monday 28th October 2013. The ticket was purchased in the London Borough of Brent and matched five of the winning numbers plus the Bonus Ball on the midweek draw. The winning numbers were 7, 8, 11, 12, 39, 42 and the Bonus was 2.

These unclaimed prizes show how important it is for players who buy tickets from retailers to check their numbers to ensure they do not risk losing out on their winnings. National-Lottery.com offers players a variety of ways to check their tickets, which include checking the results of each draw on the Lottery Results Page, downloading the iPhone Lottery app or using the Ticket Checker.

However, players who buy their tickets online will never miss out on a lottery prize as their numbers are checked automatically after each draw. Winning players receive an email advising them to check their account and prizes under £5,000 are paid into the player’s account automatically.
