Lucky Couple Named as Latest Lotto Jackpot Winners

Last Saturday’s Lotto draw proved lucky for four ticket holders as all managed to match the six numbers drawn to share the jackpot that was worth £5.7 million. Now one of these ticket holders have come forward to claim their Lotto jackpot win and have been named as lucky couple John and Pauline Alford from Trowbridge. They came forward this week to receive their winnings that work out at just over £1.4 million.
John Alford purchased the winning Lotto ticket last Saturday at Asda in Trowbridge and almost walked out as there were a lot of people queuing, however he stayed and got two Lucky Dip Lotto tickets, one of which turned out to be the winning ticket. However, Saturday 13th April proved to be lucky indeed for this couple as not only did the land the Lotto jackpot but also won £2 on a scratchcard and £5 on the Thunderball draw.
When checking their tickets the couple felt like time stood still and found it difficult to know what was going on. First of all they plan to spend their winnings on a family holiday to Florida for their whole family then plan to buy a house for their daughter and a new car big enough to carry around their grandchildren.
This Saturday Lotto jackpot is estimated at £3.8 million therefore if you fancy becoming a jackpot winner like this couple then make sure you have your tickers ready as you could be waking up on Sunday morning a millionaire!
