Weekend Worldwide Lottery Round Up

Last Updated: Monday 2nd February 2015, 09:13

Lottery players around the world had a weekend of varied success, with some lottery jackpots rolling over and others being won by multiple ticket holders. Whether you played the UK Lotto, Australian Lotto or Irish Lottery, the very latest news from the weekend draws can be found here.

There was a brand new weekend jackpot worth £4.1 million on the UK Lotto after two players shared the double rollover worth £8.2 million the previous Wednesday. Unfortunately, no player was as lucky on Saturday as the jackpot rolled over so the jackpot for the midweek draw will now be an estimated £6.3 million. You can view the full results for Saturday’s draw on the Lotto Results page.

Irish jackpot hunters didn’t fare much better either, as the Irish Lottery rolled over for the second time in a row. However, as over 30,000 ticket holders won a prize ranging from €5 to €25,000 on Saturday, players are still advised to check their numbers on the Irish Lottery Results page to see if they are due a prize. The Irish Lottery jackpot for Wednesday is now estimated to reach €3 million.

In Australia however, it was a different story for jackpot hungry players. The Division 1 prize of the Saturday Lotto Superdraw, worth AUD$21 million, was shared by an incredible 13 players who will each scoop a little over AUD$1.6 million. Multiple winners on the Saturday Lotto are not uncommon, although this is the highest number to share the Division 1 prize in over six weeks. The full results for this lottery can be viewed on the Australian Results page.

Congratulations to everyone who won a prize this weekend and if you were unlucky, don’t worry as there is a fresh batch of lottery games to be played this week!
