EuroMillions Superdraw Scheduled for October

Last Updated: Monday 23rd November 2015, 16:46

Earlier this week lottery officials revealed the next EuroMillions Superdraw would be held in just over two months’ time on Friday 3rd October. The announcement came just weeks after EuroMillions postponed a scheduled Superdraw following high ticket sales and repetitive rollovers which led to the planned £80 million (€100 million) Superdraw jackpot being naturally surpassed.

Although jackpot amount has not yet been confirmed, it is likely that October’s big game will follow the same format as previous EuroMillions Superdraws and offer players the chance to win a fantastic top prize worth a guaranteed £80 million (€100 million).

In total, 15 EuroMillions Superdraws have taken place since they were first introduced in 2007 and 12 of those have offered minimum guaranteed jackpots of £80 million (€100 million). The last EuroMillions Superdraw was held on Friday 7th March but was not won until the following week when UK mechanic Neil Trotter scooped a colossal £107 million on Friday 14th March.

41-year-old Trotter bought his EuroMillions tickets on a whim after he had “a funny feeling” he would win big. The South London car enthusiast mimicked his Only Fools and Horses namesake Del Trotter by saying; “Being Trotters we were always going to be millionaires one day!”

While tickets are not yet on sale for the big game, National-Lottery.com will continue to bring you all the latest news and information regarding the upcoming EuroMillions Superdraw.

*EuroMillions jackpots are guaranteed in euros, the sterling value may fluctuate in accordance with exchange rates.
