EuroMillions Superdraw Planned for Friday 7th March 2014

Last Updated: Monday 23rd November 2015, 16:55

The EuroMillions lottery will hold the first Superdraw of the year on Friday 7th March 2014, with a jackpot of €100 / £80 million on offer. The Superdraw will follow the same format as regular EuroMillions draws, with the exception of a guaranteed minimum jackpot on offer. If players fail to match all seven numbers drawn in the special draw, the jackpot will roll over to the following week; creating an even bigger jackpot.

The last EuroMillions Superdraw took place in November 2013, when one Spanish ticket holder from the Almunecar province of Granada took home the full €100 million jackpot. The latest draw will be the 15th EuroMillions Superdraw since the lottery first began in 2004. The first Superdraw was not held for another three years, in February 2007 and, at the time, the jackpot was the third largest in EuroMillions history and was claimed by a Belgian ticket holder.

Tickets for the imminent Superdraw can be purchased both online and from lottery retailers, across the nine participating countries once ticket sales reopen after tonight’s draw. Ticket sales are expected to increase dramatically, so make sure you get yours in plenty of time!
