Last Updated: Wednesday 13th August 2014, 16:11

Saturday’s UK Lotto draw saw an incredible eight players match all six main numbers to share the jackpot prize of £3.1 million. The last time the UK Lotto saw as many as eight top tier winners in a single draw was over a year ago, on Saturday 12th January 2013, when eight ticket holders shared the £2.2 million top prize.

The lucky numbers drawn on Saturday night were 3, 7, 13, 17, 27 and 40 with the Bonus Ball 19 and more than 430,000 players matched one of the prize winning combinations. In addition to the eight top tier winners, 976 players came within just one number of hitting the jackpot. Out of the 976 players, 16 matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £11,612 each while the other 960 matched five main numbers to win £164 each.

The following prize tiers saw 29,375 players match four main numbers to win £28 each and 401,470 players match just three main numbers to win £25 each. The additional UK Lotto Raffle saw 100 players win £20,000 each when they matched one of the winning codes drawn. A list of all 100 winning raffle codes can be found on the UK Lotto Results page.

The next UK Lotto draw takes place on Wednesday and, as Saturday’s jackpot was won, will offer players a brand new top prize worth an estimated £2.1 million. If you’d like to participate in the mid-week draw, tickets can be purchased online via the Lottery Tickets tab or in person from an authorised retailer.
