Spanish Ticket Wins EuroMillions

A lottery ticket purchased in Spain won the EuroMillions rollover jackpot on Friday 7th February by matching the main numbers 03, 17, 19, 46 and 47, along with the Lucky Star numbers 09 and 10. There have now been three jackpots landed in 2014. The first was shared by two winning tickets purchased in Spain and France and the other two have been won outright by players in France and Spain, respectively.
Players from the UK have yet to get lucky in the EuroMillions jackpot stakes this year, but they have fared much better with the consolation prizes. There were two second tier prizes won on Friday, and one of the winning tickets had been purchased in the UK, giving its owner a very handsome £553,637 for matching all five main numbers and one of the two Lucky Star numbers. More than 2.38 million consolation prizes were won in total, and the Millionaire Raffle number TVZ813308 was worth £1,000,000 to the person who matched it.
Having witnessed a rollover jackpot being landed in the EuroMillions game on Friday, lottery players were hoping to see a similar thing happen in the Saturday Lotto game. The good news is that their hopes were met in full, with one ticket matching the main numbers 08, 25, 27, 36, 39 and 44 to win the life-changing sum of £6,497,209.
Eight Lotto tickets won their owners a consolation prize worth £47,919 each after matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number 04, and the total number of prizes landed on Saturday was 308,161. Another 100 prizes of £20,000 each were won in the Lotto Raffle game.
All that was needed for lottery players to land the treble was for someone to win the top prize of £100,000 in the Health Lottery game. One ticket succeeded in doing exactly that by matching all five main numbers, which were 03, 07, 19, 31 and 41.
