Tonight’s EuroMillions Jackpot is Worth £150 Million

Last Updated: Friday 24th October 2014, 09:36

This evening’s EuroMillions results will keep players spellbound as they wait for the winning numbers and hope that they can match them to snag a £150 million payday. The draw on Tuesday 21st October ended in a rollover, bringing the total value of the jackpot to its maximum value of €190 million (£150 million).

Tonight’s draw (and potentially Tuesday’s draw) is special in that any extra funds generated through ticket sales after the jackpot amount will roll down and be shared equally among all players in the next winning tier whether or not there is a top prize winner.

If no one wins the jackpot tonight, then the draw for Tuesday 28th October will still offer the £150 million (€190 million) top prize and if no player can match the five main numbers and both Lucky Stars on that night, then the entire sum, along with any money raised through ticket sales in excess of the jackpot amount, will roll down to players in the next winning tier. This means that several ticket holders could become multi-millionaires!

This is an exciting and rare occasion for the pan-European lottery, as the last time that the jackpot cap was hit was in 2012, when Adrian and Gillian Bayford won a £148.6 million (€190 million) windfall on Friday 10th August of that year.

Of course, many players out there would like to bag the nine-figure prize for themselves. If you’re one of them, just remember that the only way to win it is to be in it! There’s still time to buy EuroMillions tickets for tonight’s draw as sales close at 7.30pm BST. You can make your purchases online or visit an authorised retailer. Good luck!
