Hunt is on for Five Missing Lotto Millionaires

Last Updated: Thursday 24th September 2020, 14:20

The Lotto draw on Saturday 10th October saw 25 ticket holders match one of the winning Lotto Millionaire Raffle codes drawn to scoop a windfall of £1 million each. Held to celebrate the changes to Lotto that were brought in earlier this month, the supplementary raffle draw hit a new record, with Lotto creating more millionaires in a single night than it had ever done before. Out of the group, 20 of the lucky winners have quickly claimed their payouts, but now lottery officials are on the hunt for five missing millionaires.

The five unclaimed prizes are as follows:

  • Leeds, West Yorkshire - BLUE 2873 7030
  • Worcester, Worcestershire - GREY 1239 0029
  • Tameside, Greater Manchester - LIME 4363 5202
  • Barnet, London - RUBY 1896 8032
  • Huntingdonshire - RUBY 4778 2862

If you or someone you know lives in one of these areas and bought a ticket for that draw, it’s time to flip the sofa cushions, look under the car seats and empty every handbag and drawer - there’s a cool £1 million on the line! Try to think back to nearly a fortnight ago and what you might have been doing at the time. For example, Leeds residents might have been recovering after Light Night on Friday 9th October, in which the city centre is transformed into an amalgamation of art galleries and fun shows. You may have popped into a store the next morning for some milk, bread and a spur-of-the-moment Lotto ticket!

Worcester residents may have grabbed a Lotto ticket after watching Worcester FC tie with Solihull Moors as they headed home from the match to watch England take on Uruguay in its final Rugby World Cup pool appearance.

No matter where you’re from, the deadline for claiming these prizes is Thursday 7th April 2016. While that’s quite some time away, it might be a good idea to start looking around now for those missing tickets - Christmas is right around the bend, and a seven-figure prize would make the holidays infinitely easier!

If you missed out on the huge Lotto Millionaire Raffle draw or any other Lotto prize on the 10th, you can always try your luck again tomorrow night. Saturday’s Lotto jackpot is worth an estimated £4.4 million, and there will be one lucky winner of £1 million and another 20 prizes of £20,000 on offer in the raffle. Do you think you can give a Lotto prize a good, loving home in your bank account? If so, buy tickets online or from authorised retailers up until 7.30pm BST (8.30pm CEST) on the night. Good luck and have fun!
