It was a great night for Lotto fans as two ticket holders shared the jackpot of £5.3 million and over 290,000 other participants pocketed cash prizes. There has been a terrific run of success recently but Wednesday’s rollover ensured a very tasty jackpot, and the two lucky winners can now look forward to a life of luxury after grabbing £2.6 million each.
The winning numbers were 5, 17, 22, 31, 40 and 48 with Bonus Ball 18. One player was also able to match five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to claim £343,643. Another 307 ticket holders snapped up £950 each after matching five main numbers.
There were over 15,000 participants who matched four main numbers, picking up £99 each as a result. The remaining Lotto prize winners on the night won a fixed prize of £25 for matching three main numbers. Saturday’s jackpot win kept the winning feeling going and Wednesday’s draw should be an absolute cracker, with some great rewards on offer and a top prize of £2.1 million.
