It was the second of four special midweek draws this month on Wednesday 13th May and another lucky player won £1 million as part of the Lotto Raffle. The Lotto jackpot of £2.4 million was not snapped up but over 130,000 ticket holders still pocketed prizes to make it an evening to remember.
As well as the usual 50 prizes of £20,000 each in the Lotto Raffle, every Wednesday draw in May is guaranteed to make one ticket holder a millionaire. One such award was given away last week and another player has reason to celebrate tonight after landing a seven-figure payout which will surely transform their lives for the better.
In the main Lotto draw, the winning numbers were 1, 5, 21, 33, 34 and 47 with Bonus Ball 31. Six participants were successful in matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to each pick up £33,073, while 126 players earned £1,337 each after matching five main numbers. Two players won the jackpot on Saturday 9th May, splitting £5.3 million to take home £2.6 million each, and there has been a great run of Lotto winners in recent weeks. Following tonight’s rollover, the top prize will stand at £5.7 million for the next draw on Saturday.
