‘Super Sleuths’ Hunting for Missing Millionaires as Lotto Jackpot Soars

Last Updated: Friday 6th November 2015, 09:47

As Lotto players set their sights on a jackpot of £12.9 million on Saturday night, the search is still on for four players who each won £1 million as part of the Lotto Millionaire Raffle on 10th October. It was the draw which launched the revamped supplementary game following a number of changes to Lotto and 25 millionaires were set to be created, but not everyone has come forward yet and ‘lottery detectives’ have now been dispatched in the latest bid to track down the mystery winners.

The winning entries were purchased in Huntingdonshire, Leeds, Tameside and Worcester, and anyone who bought tickets in those areas has been encouraged to check ‘in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa’. Speaking about the Tameside ticket, a National Lottery spokesperson confirmed that a crack team had been sent to Ashton to get to the bottom of the mystery, saying in the Manchester Evening News: “Our Super Sleuths have been busy investigating and we hope that their promptings will help get this prize claimed.”

National Lottery bosses are pulling out all the stops to try and find the missing millionaires, with Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds lit up earlier this week and the winning code projected onto the building. Find out the winning Lotto Millionaire Raffle codes from 10th October to find out if you may be due a prize.

There will be another chance to land a fortune on Saturday night, with one player guaranteed to win £1 million in the Lotto Millionaire Raffle and a huge jackpot on offer for anyone who manages to match all six main Lotto numbers. The top prize has been rolling over since £4.3 million was snapped up by a single ticket holder on Saturday 24th October and is now a very enticing eight-figure sum.

To give yourself an opportunity of claiming £12.9 million, just make sure you pick up tickets by either entering online or popping down to any authorised retailer in the UK, and then check back on National-Lottery.com straight after the draw to see whether you are a winner. Good luck!
