Winners Remain Missing after Lotto Millionaire Raffle Code Mix-Up

Last Updated: Wednesday 4th November 2015, 09:55

A number of £1 million winners from the special Lotto Millionaire Raffle draw on Saturday 10th October are still to come forward, following a mix-up that saw the wrong codes posted online for 40 minutes. In total, there were meant to be 25 awards of £1 million made to celebrate the launch of the new Lotto supplementary game, but four ticket holders have yet to claim their prize and it is feared they may have checked their numbers against the incorrect set and discarded them, thinking they hadn’t won.

Lottery officials Camelot blamed “human error” for the mistake, adding “for a short time on the night of the draw our website displayed a test screen of dummy Lotto Millionaire Raffle results. So we’re asking all players to check and re-check their tickets against the codes to see if there is a £1m cheque waiting for you.”

The winning entries were bought in Huntingdonshire, Leeds, Tameside and Worcester and you can check the correct winning Lotto Millionaire Raffle codes from the draw at the Lottery Results section.

Lotto players who think they may have thrown away a winning ticket can still make a claim, as long as they do before 5pm on the 30th day after the draw, which in this case is Monday 9th November. Camelot keeps a record of where and when tickets were purchased and claimants will be asked to confirm the name and location of the shop as well as the time of the transaction, the date of the draw, the amount of entries they bought and the numbers they think they used for the main Lotto game.

Lotto returns tonight with another £1 million prize to be given away on Lotto Millionaire Raffle, as well as a double rollover jackpot of £8.8 million. You can get hold of Lotto tickets online and from authorised retailers, with sales finishing at 7:30pm. Good luck!
