Urgent Appeal to Find Lotto Medal Event Winners

Lotto’s Medal Draw on Saturday 27th August saw the National Lottery honour the amazing achievements of Team GB at the Rio Olympics by presenting every ticket holder with the chance to win one of 88 amazing cash prizes ranging from £50,000 to £1 million. While the 180-day deadline to claim these prizes is not until February, the cut-off date for players hoping to claim a prize with a damaged or lost ticket is fast approaching.
While National Lottery officials continue to appeal for the remaining lucky ticket holders to come forward, far more urgent calls are being made for any player who believes that they may have (or had) a winning ticket, but have lost or damaged it. The organisation states that all claims made with a missing, damaged or destroyed ticket must be made within 30 days of the date of the draw, meaning that the deadline of 5pm on Monday 26th September is rapidly approaching. While a number of players have already come forward to collect their prizes from the special Lotto draw, there are still many more going unclaimed, including five prizes of £1 million each and four prizes of £100,000 each. While online players receive an email notification if they win a prize, anyone who buys paper tickets from a retailer needs to check the entries themselves and lodge a claim.
