Double Delight for UK as EuroMillions Jackpot Hits £143 Million

Last Updated: Tuesday 31st July 2018, 12:22

There was double delight in Friday’s EuroMillions draw as two UK ticket holders each won £655,838 in the Match 5+1 tier. The lucky duo, who claimed the highest value reward in the main draw since an Irish player won €1 million on Friday 8th September,  were the biggest prize winners on a night which saw the game’s jackpot roll over to an astonishing £143 million.

Winning EuroMillions Line

The winning EuroMillions numbers were 6, 11, 31, 39 and 42, with Lucky Stars 1 and 3 completing the line-up. Despite the colossal jackpot going unclaimed, Friday’s draw was certainly a success for UK players, with six of the 11 biggest prizes on offer finding their way to the island nation. This was partially thanks to four of the nine Match 5 prizes of £33,944 also being claimed by UK ticket holders.

The country’s luck didn’t end there, as a further 847,275 players (from a total of 3,324,206 prize winners) all profited from the draw, receiving sums ranging from £3 for matching two main numbers to £2,334 for correctly predicting the outcome of four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. Millionaire Maker Results

There may have been big winners in the main game, but the biggest cheers of the night were saved for two ticket holders who each scooped £1 million in the UK Millionaire Maker draw. The prosperous pair, who each matched one of the two codes drawn (JGTP45215 and JGTQ09773), now have 180 days to claim their rewards.

If you didn’t win a prize in Friday’s draw, fear not, as this Tuesday’s draw could see you secure a £143 million windfall. If you would like to be in with a chance of adding this nine-figure sum to your bank account, simply choose your numbers online or pick up a ticket from any authorised retailer. Could you be the UK’s next big winner?
