EuroMillions Jackpot of £70.8 Million Won in France

A French EuroMillions player scooped a sensational €83.3 million (£70.8 million) jackpot in last night’s draw to become the latest big winner of 2017. Over 420,000 participants from the UK also landed prizes, including two ticket holders who picked up £1 million each on the Millionaire Maker.

The numbers drawn on Tuesday 11th April were 5, 21, 22, 31 and 49, with Lucky Stars 2 and 8, and one lucky ticket holder matched the full line to become the first jackpot winner since Tuesday 14th March, and the first French winner since last November.

The biggest UK winners on the main game were the pair of players who matched five main numbers to pick up £29,605 each, while other prizes won spanned between £2.80 for matching two main numbers and £2,129 for matching four main numbers and two Lucky Stars. The jackpot will now reset to £14 million for Friday night’s EuroMillions draw, while there is an even bigger prize up for grabs in this evening’s Lotto.
