As the first Euromillions rollover of 2011, players were out in their droves this week to buy lottery tickets for last night’s £24 million draw. It seems the extra ticket sales pay have paid off too as the Euromillions rollover jackpot is split two ways, with each winner collecting over £12 million or around €15 million. If you haven’t yet checked the winning numbers then take a look at the Euromillions results page to see if you were one of the lucky winners from last night’s rollover draw!
The Euromillions rollover jackpot reached a staggering £24.7 million in last night’s draw and UK players were giving an extra push on tickets to see if that big jackpot could be won in Britain. In the event, neither jackpot winner was from the UK, with both £12 million payouts going out to Europe.
That’s not to say that UK Lottery players didn’t do very well from the Euromillions rollover draw last night. In total, including the Millionaire Raffle, over £4.5 million was paid out in prizes to UK lottery players, including four £130,177 second tier prizes, and four £20,934 third division payouts.
The next lottery draw for UK players to look forward to is Wednesday’s National Lottery draw and the jackpot for that draw is worth an estimated £2.4 million. Then on Friday evening is the next Euromillions draw and after last night’s winners, that draw will be worth £12 million, or €15 million in the rest of Europe.
